This natural blue sapphire was selected from rough out of the gem-bearing gravels of southern Sri Lanka, near Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, and displays a medium Ceylon blue with balanced saturation and pleasing face-up colour. The stone weighs 0.48 ct. Faceted by our cutters into a cushion cut, with good light return face-up. Heat treated; a standard step used to bring out the blue. Includes faint silk; small signs of natural origin, not a flaw. Fine for a ring or pendant, or to round out a gem collection.

Full lab reports typically cost LKR 5,000–8,000 depending on what is required: origin confirmation, memo cards, and similar checks add to the fee. On commercial lots we often skip a certificate to keep the price fair; on important stones we use credentialled partners.
