Sales
A sale is agreed only when price, stone identity, and payment terms are confirmed in writing (including WhatsApp). Listed prices are guides unless confirmed as final in that conversation. Unless explicitly itemized in writing, the agreed stone price excludes export, freight, insurance, and destination import duties, taxes, and brokerage.
Natural stones
Gemstones are natural products. Minor inclusions, colour variation, and wear sensitivity are normal. Descriptions reflect our assessment at the time of listing.
Limitation
We are not liable for indirect losses. Liability for a stone is limited to the agreed purchase price of that stone.
Auction bids are not binding
Submitting a bid through the website auction system is an expression of interest only. It does not constitute a contract, a reservation, or a guarantee that the stone will be allocated to you. No obligation arises on either party from a bid submission alone.
Seller's sole discretion
The seller retains absolute and sole discretion over the outcome of every auction, including the selection of the winning bidder. Where bids are received across multiple channels simultaneously, the seller determines the rightful winner based on their assessment of the bid history. The seller's decision is final and not subject to challenge or appeal.
Simultaneous WhatsApp auction
Auctions on this website run in parallel with a private WhatsApp group. Bids placed in the WhatsApp group are considered alongside website bids. A stone may be sold through the WhatsApp channel before the website countdown ends. No claim, entitlement, or liability arises from a website bid if the stone has already been allocated through another channel.
Dispatch after auction
Where a sale is confirmed by the seller following an auction, delivery arrangements depend on whether the buyer is in Sri Lanka or overseas. For Sri Lanka buyers, After confirmed payment we aim to release the stone to your chosen carrier within 2 business days. Release means handover to the courier or post office only, not delivery to your address. Four island options: standard courier (not insured, LKR 400–500), registered insured post (LKR 800–1,200), secured express via Pronto or SITREK (LKR 2,500–3,500), or free collection by appointment. For international buyers, export from Sri Lanka is arranged privately; we can manage the full licensed export process or work with arrangements agreed in the purchase conversation. The seller is not liable for courier or customs delays once the parcel has been handed to the carrier or export channel.
Returns and authenticity
Shop purchases and auction sales are reviewed case by case. Returns are handled case by case. We review genuine misrepresentation individually; preference on colour or face-up look alone is not grounds on its own. The buyer is expected to rely on listing media and description before payment or bidding. If a stone is subsequently shown to be synthetic, or materially not as described (for example heat treated when described as unheated, or a drastic difference from listing video), the buyer may contact the seller promptly with supporting detail. The seller will review such cases individually at its sole discretion and may discuss a resolution in good faith.
