Reddish Pink Spinel 4.15ct

Unheated · Ceylon

This natural reddish pink Ceylon spinel came from rough mined at Nivithigala, Sri Lanka, and shows a vivid reddish pink with medium saturation and strong face-up brilliance, rare in usual Ceylon material without going too dark. The stone weighs 4.15 ct. Hand-cut to precision as a cushion to bring out the brilliance in the stone; we first took it to 5 ct plus as a native cut, then recut for better optics at 4.15 ct. Unheated; the crystal is exactly as mined. A small natural feather is present but invisible at eye level and only reads under magnification; clean face-up with excellent clarity for the size. Collector-grade Ceylon spinel for someone who wants rare vivid reddish pink in real mined crystal, not commercial dark red.

Full lab reports typically cost LKR 5,000–8,000 depending on what is required: origin confirmation, memo cards, and similar checks add to the fee. On commercial lots we often skip a certificate to keep the price fair; on important stones we use credentialled partners.
