Blue Sapphire 1.30ct

A 1.30 ct Ceylon blue sapphire with strong face-up colour in a square emerald cut. Intense blue with even saturation; the step facets return clean flashes across the table and crown in daylight and in lower light. Loupe clean in wear. Compact but vivid: enough blue for a ring or pendant without the stone closing up in the mount. Cut from material mined at Nivithigala, Ratnapura, Sri Lanka.
