Blue Sapphire 2.50ct

A 2.50 ct Ceylon blue sapphire with rich royal blue face-up colour and strong transparency. Vivid saturation with electric flashes across the crown; even tone in 360 without the blue going dark in a ring or pendant mount. Cushion cut with lively brilliance off the table. Loupe clean in wear. You may spot a speck of surface dirt in the video; it is not an inclusion and wipes off easily. We missed a proper pre-shoot clean on this one, and we are sorry for the dusty cameo. Strong presence at two and a half carats. Mined at Nivithigala, Ratnapura, Sri Lanka.
