Light Yellow Sapphire 0.55ct

This natural light yellow sapphire was selected from rough out of the river pits around Ratnapura, Sri Lanka and carries a pale light yellow with a soft, even face-up tone. The stone weighs 0.55 ct. Faceted by our cutters into a round cut, with lively colour flashes across the crown. Left unheated; colour and internals as the rough came out of the ground. Minor internal features, including faint silk; normal for natural crystal from mined rough. Fine for a ring or pendant, or to round out a gem collection.
