Lilac Sapphire 0.54ct

This natural lilac sapphire was cut from material mined in the Sabaragamuwa gem region of Sri Lanka and displays a soft lilac-purple with bright face-up colour, with slight zoning typical of mined rough. The stone weighs 0.54 ct. Hand-cut locally into a round cut, with lively colour flashes across the crown. No heat applied. Faint internal character (faint silk); typical of earth-mined stone. A wearable stone for a simple mount or a growing suite.
