Rhodolite Garnet 2.46ct

This natural rhodolite garnet came from rough found in the Elahera district gem gravels of Sri Lanka and displays a purplish-red rhodolite tone with magenta hints and even face-up colour. The stone weighs 2.46 ct. Faceted by our cutters into a cushion cut, with good light return face-up. Left unheated; colour and internals as the rough came out of the ground. Minor internal features, including faint silk; normal for natural crystal from mined rough. Works in custom jewellery or a personal collection of Ceylon stones.
